The U.S. spends millions of dollars daily for the war in Iraq. The war is forcing America to put itself on the backburner. When was the last time the "greatest" country in the free world did something for itself? We aren't hiding under our desks from the commies any more Charlie, we can afford to step back from Iraq. A few democrats are proposing an idea that would not only help maintain America's natural beauty but also create jobs for the not so beautiful American economy. Of course these tree hugging hippies are being investigated by gun slinging war mongers. Where is this money coming from? Maybe from our decreased military spending. Maybe from the closing of a little prison we have. Or maybe the Obeys just need more money and are taking a two million dollar raise in pay this year. What a joke. Guess what republicans? We let you try out the budget thing for 8 years! Obviously, the 8 years gave great results but now it is up to the democrats.
